How can I volunteer at the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair?
The Country Fair is made up of over 28 committees that work together to help raise money for Bryn Mawr Hospital. There are over 2,500 volunteers that work on the different committees, selling souvenirs, programs, candy, hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, sodas and much more. Volunteers are asked to purchase an aides badge for $2 and to work two shifts during the eleven day show. The badge entitles the volunteer to free admittance for the duration of the show. Each year there is a volunteer sign-up party. This event is held in the Hospitality Suite on the Showgrounds and is traditionally held the 3rd Sunday in April 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. What special events are happening at Devon during the show?
Although many people know about the Horse Show and May activities, some may not be aware of the events that go on throughout the year. From an elegant Ball in May, to a house tour in October, to selling Christmas trees in December, we never stop at Devon!

This year marks the third year for this fun and elegant affair. If dancing to a fabulous New York band, sipping cocktails on a terrace overlooking the Chester County countryside and enjoying wonderful food sounds fun, come join us! Not only will you have a great time, but you can feel good knowing that the proceeds benefit the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Foundation! Devon Horse Show Grounds
If you enjoy viewing beautiful art from exceptional equine oil paintings to lovely watercolors of scenic Chester County, you will love First Night at Devon. The party is held the night before the official opening of Devon so the grounds are abuzz with vendors preparing to open and horses in the practice ring. Guests however will be sipping champagne and enjoying a first look at the beautiful art which is for sale at this preview. We invite you to experience Devon before the opening!

Christmas Tree Sale and Holiday Shoppes
First Two Weekends in December
Devon comes alive in mid December with a Christmas tree and wreath sale in the main parking lots. Unbelievably fresh trees from 5 to over 10’ tall are available. The Devon Boy Scouts team with us to sell beautiful wreaths and we even make a special batch of Devon fudge! To make it even more appealing, on the first weekend we will host Devon Holiday Shoppes which includes some of the best area vendors, everything from handmade items to silver jewelry and much more, all to make your Christmas shopping easy and enjoyable.
