Horse Show & Country Fair Hours

Gates will open daily at approximately 8:00 a.m. and close at approximately 10:00 p.m.
The Country Fair area opens around 10:00 a.m. for the Midway and Shopping.
The first Sunday, the gates will open at 11:00 a.m. and the Horse Show classes will start at 1:00 p.m.


Special Events

  • Family Day: Thursday, May 24. Specials at the Fair and Midway. Plein Air by Wayne Art Center painting ongoing throughout the day. Free General Admission tickets to the first 150 children, courtesy of Hartstrings!
  • Family Day: Tuesday, May 29. Includes the afternoon guided back-barn tours. Specials at the Fair and Midway.
  • Plein Air at Devon: Tuesday, May 29. The Gallery at Devon and Wayne Art Center are pleased to present Plein Air at Devon. Plein Air painters will be on site, Tuesday May 29. Please feel free to observe and ask questions. The works will be displayed in the Art Gallery at Devon from Thursday until the end of the Show, June 3.
  • Devon Doggie Parade: Memorial Day, Monday May 28 at 1pm. Don't miss it! Beginning at 12 noon, free General Admission tickets to the first 300 children, courtesy of Braxton's Animal Works!
  • Ladies Day: Wednesday, May 30. Includes the always popular Ladies' Hat Contest. Registration at gazebo, 10AM. Free General Admission until 1pm for ladies wearing elegant hats!
  • Ladies Day Tea: Wednesday, May 30 at 11am at the Devon Club. Presented by Cartier. Champagne and Tea Sandwiches. Music by Amber Rae and the Swinging Foxes. Plein Air at Devon Art Exhibition by Wayne Arts Center. Hats encouraged! Tickets $60/person
    The first 200 reservations receive a fabulous goodie bag with Lisi Lerch earrings, Boyds of Philadelphia gift card, Philadelphia Style and Boyds magazines...and more! Proceeds benefit Bryn Mawr Hospital.

  • Luncheon with Elizabeth Letts, author of NYT Best Seller, "The Eighty-Dollar Champion; Snowman, The Horse That Inspired a Nation" Saturday, June 2, 11:30am - 1:30pm.
    If you're fascinated by stories like "Seabiscuit" and "Secretariat" you'll love hearing the author discuss this true story of Snowman, a doomed horse who became a national phenomenon. Harry de Leyer, the man who rescued Snowman and made him a legend will also be in attendance.
