Volunteers
The Country Fair is made up of over 28 committees that work together to help raise money for Bryn Mawr Hospital. There are over 2,500 volunteers that work on the different committees, selling souvenirs, programs, candy, hamburgers hot dogs, ice cream, sodas and much more. Volunteers are asked to purchase an aides badge for $2 and to work two shifts during the eleven day show. The badge entitles the volunteer to free admittance for the duration of the show. Each year there is a volunteer sign-up party. This event is held in the Hospitality Suite on the Showgrounds and is traditionally held the 3rd Sunday in April 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
