Lemon sticks, cotton candy, buckets of fudge, a sky high view from a Ferris wheel, shops to tempt the buyer and browser alike, handcrafted creations, and food booths bursting with hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, ice cream and even more traditional fare in the Garden Café . Where can you find all that and more…at the Devon Country Fair.
- Devon Garden Café
-
Don’t miss dining in the Devon Garden Café. Luncheon specials include wonderful salads as well as warm entrées. For dinner, come through the line and choose from our delicious fare. Pick up your dinner, perhaps a bottle of wine, and enjoy dining in the new Pavilion. There are also boxed gourmet lunches and dinners available by reservation for you to take up to your box. You’ll find a daily menu posted in front of the cafeteria.
- Tea Cart
-
The Tea Cart is the oldest Devon booth and the start of the Devon Country Fair. Although you won’t find the lace tablecloths and sterling silver urns of yesteryear, you will still find a special blend of iced tea, mint leaves and lemon. You can begin your morning here with an assortment of breakfast options from french toast sticks to waffles, fresh fruit, danish or a bagel. Stop by anytime for specialty coffees, a latte, cappuccino, or espresso, then visit the booth for lunch to sample the delicious tea sandwiches and mouthwatering pastries. Tea Cart opens at 7 a.m.
- Food Alley
-
You won’t go hungry at Devon. Saunter down the row of Devon’s volunteer-run food court and be tempted! All day long and into the night the sizzle of hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and the tempting aroma of pizza and fries will let you know good food awaits you. In addition, you can grab a sandwich or a salad and, of course, smoothies & frappuncinos and fun fair food like ice cream and popcorn. Once you’ve picked up your tasty treats, take them over to the expanded picnic grove to enjoy.
- Devon Fudge
-
A visit to the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the Devon Candy Booth for a taste of the famous Devon Fudge. Each year over 1,500 lbs. of this deliciously decadent treat is sold. And don’t forget the lemon sticks! Children love this century old Devon tradition. This is the place to find all your candy favorites, the ones you remember from your childhood as well as the ones your children love. The new Candy Booth is located in the Picnic Grove.
- Souvenirs
-
You can’t go to Devon without taking a little piece of it home with you! The Souvenir Booth offers everything Devon from T-Shirts and baseball caps to fashion items, totes, and elegant barware. Come check out the new items this year that include custom neckties, and saddle pads.
Devon Kids/Future Champions
Official location for all Devon logoed merchandise featuring baby and youth clothing from manufacturers such as Champion and Fit2Win. Equestrian lines including Ariat, Joules, Goode Rider and Pony Chic offer something special for the younger horse enthusiasts. Ponies are covered too with a line of saddle pads, wraps from Lettia and even Devon horse treats. And, of course, a wide array of exciting toys and plush with a clever Devon spin from Breyer, Douglas, Aurora and Melissa and Doug.
- The Art Gallery at Devon
-
Since its beginnings in 1999, the Art Gallery at Devon continues to impress patrons, art collectors and visitors. Achieving over $200,000.00 in sales for the benefit of the Bryn Mawr Hospital, the Gallery has become one of the top grossing venues of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair. This juried art show exhibits approximately 500 hundred pieces of beautiful art by regional and national artists. Works in media range from oils to watercolor to sculpture, focusing on a variety of subjects including pastoral, still life, equestrian, and animal life.
The Art Gallery also hosts First Night at Devon, held the night before the official opening of the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair, when guests enjoy viewing beautiful art among the grounds that are abuzz with horses and riders in the practice ring and vendors open for shopping. Guests enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while being treated to a special preview of the art showcased in the gallery, including the official Devon poster.
First Night at Devon has raised over $50,000 for the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Foundation. We celebrate the 10th anniversary of this special event on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Tickets begin at $75 per person. To request more information, please contact 610.525.2533.
