Black Tie & Boots Ball
Black Tie & Boots Ball
Date: Saturday, May 7, 2011
On May 8th, a record crowd of Devon Horse Show and Country Fair friends and supporters gathered at Bryn Clovis on a lovely spring evening for the annual Black Tie & Boots Ball. This is the fifth year for the Ball, and the second year at Mrs. J. Maxwell Moran's Bryn Clovis at Brushwood Farm.
The evening began with guests tasting cocktails and appetizers under the centuries old oak trees overlooking the rolling hills, horses and paddocks at dusk. Then guests enjoyed dinner and dancing under a sparkling, light filled tent and the stars at Bryn Clovis. A live auction with Carson Kressley is always a hit before hitting the dance floor to the music of Kenn Kweder who kept guests moving with classic sounds from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Catering was provided by Jimmy Duffy Catering. Beautiful floral arrangements were provided by Valley Forge Flowers and Wallace Associates. It was truly a magical evening in a one of a kind setting.
The Black Tie & Boots Ball was sponsored by Pepsi Beverage Company. Proceeds of the Ball benefit the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Foundation.
