Sponsorship of Special Events
Devon offers sponsors unique opportunities year round, from targeted audiences to broad based visibility. Local and regional sponsors are particularly well suited to the many Devon events before, during and after Devon Week. There is extensive press coverage for each of the events. We work closely with sponsors to ensure a “good fit”, please see below of more information:
First Night at Devon: Wednesday, May 21, 2008
Hosted by the Art Gallery at Devon this event is held the night prior to the opening of the Show. Over 100 art lovers attend the event which features a preview of the art and a champagne reception. Sponsorships begin at $500.
Black Tie and Boots Ball: Saturday, May 10, 2008
This fun and elegant event offers sponsors excellent visibility and recognition to a targeted Main Line Philadelphia audience of Horse Show supporters. This year’s Ball will be held at the elegant Ardrossan estate in Villanova. Sponsorships begin at $3000 and go up to $15,000.
House Tour: October 23, 2008
This one-day event attracts close to 500 guests, primarily women, living locally and interested in home décor, art and gardens. Sponsorships begin at $500 with the title sponsorship of $5000.
Christmas Tree Sale and Holiday Shoppes : First two weekends of December
A major local event held on the Show Grounds offers sponsors targeted local visibility. While the Christmas tree sale attracts families, the Holiday Shoppes held the first weekend attract primarily women interested in purchasing high end gifts from jewelry to “boutique style” wares. Sponsorships begin at $500. Interested vendors are encouraged to call for space early in October.
Sponsorship of Events During the Show
Many smaller sponsorship opportunities are available for various special events during the Show including:
Ladies Day: Wednesday, May 23, 2008. Sponsorships of the annual Ladies Hat Contest begin at $500.
Children’s Day: May, 26, 2008. Special activities are held for children in the Country Fair area including crafts and beading. Sponsorships begin at $500.
Back Barn Tours: Tuesday, May 29, 2008 A “behind the scenes” view of Devon. Free of charge and much publicized event is sure to continue to grow in the future. Sponsorships begins at $------
