Dressage Musical Kur
Tentative Schedule: Will be announced soon!
This year we will be adding an exhibition for a Dressage Musical Kur. Musical “Kur” or “Freestyle” is a form of dressage where horse and rider “dance” to music to meet the technical requirements. Routines are a creative expression of the relationship between a horse and rider. The scoring components combine technical marks, artistic scoring of rhythm and harmony between the horse and rider, the choreography, the degree of difficulty, and the choice and interpretation of the music. The USDF has four levels of competition, and there is a FEI World Individual Dressage Rankings for Grand Prix competitions. Musical Freestyles are a component of the dressage competition at the Olympics, and the World Equestrian Games.
